Sometimes I wish...

Sometimes I wish for hair to brush and put little bows in, Mary Janes to buckle, or tights to put on. I long for a someone to paint toenails with, talk fashion with, or deal with mood swings.

I wish at times I could convince my husband to have just one more, on the off chance we would have that elusive girl.

Then again, maybe I'm content!

  1. I often wonder the same thing: What would a girl be like? Even if all we ever have is sons, like you I count myself blessed. They are fun, entertaining, sweet, and someday they'll be grown men who can take care of their Mama! :D

  2. If you wanted to be guaranteed a litle girl, you could always adopt one. That way, you'd know for sure. :)

  3. Aw...we had a boy on our fourth go. I was over the moon about it. My husband was always so content..."We just have girls, Michelle." He was convinced our fourth would be a girl, too. But I was so sick...that I just knew it HAD to be a boy this time (I was never sick with my girls).

Either way...you never know what life will bring you and when.

  5. Also forgot to say that in the last pic, your older boys' profiles are almost identical! Do they look that similar in their complete faces?

  6. I often wonder what it would be like to have a little boy, but like you said, even without one I'm still content.

  7. And sometimes I think just the opposite, more for Justin's benefit than anything else. What would our boy look like? Dark hair and eyes like his daddy? Would he be an energetic terror or a shy little mama's boy? Would he be laid back or wired up? HOW would I figure out what to dress him in? The list goes on...

But thankfully, I really expect to have more kids. If we get more girls, I'll be more than happy...if we get any boys, I'll be more than happy. Just so :)
