Cereal in the dark ages

This morning my oldest son, who is 7 and I had the following conversation:

Me: Do you want some sugar on those cheerios?


Tyler: No. That's gross. 


 Me:I used to put sugar on my cheerios when I was little, it made them taste better.


 Tyler: Did they have Cheerios when you were little?


 Me: Yes. I am not that old.


 Tyler: Was it just Cheerios or did you have other kinds?


 Me: The same choices you have, again, Tyler, I am not that old!


 Tyler: Oh. I thought you lived with the cave men! (big smile on his face)


Let me tell you I have been seeing many people I know turning the big 3-0 lately and my time is coming. This did not help. But, it was funny and very worth sharing!!
